Huron Consulting Group Awarded ISO 22301:2012

This new international certification endorses a plan of management practices and preventive solutions to protect the organization – and the delivery of client solutions – against unexpected disruptions, such as a loss of power, severe weather conditions, epidemics or unstable political or economic situations. As one of the few organizations to have been issued ISO 22301:2012 accreditation, Huron demonstrates a strong commitment to proactively enhancing the quality of its services on behalf of clients.

ISO 22301:2012, a standard that has evolved from the internationally recognized and well-respected British Standard, BS 25999, provides the framework for an organization to identify and manage current and future threats to business, take a proactive approach to minimizing the impact of incidents, maintain critical functions during times of crises, minimize downtime during incidents, and improve recovery time. An effective business continuity management system (BCMS) mitigates the potential adverse impact on brand or corporate reputation that may accompany an unexpected and prolonged disruption to the delivery of practice solutions.
