IATF 16949:2016

DQS is committed to helping customers successfully transition from TS 16949 to IATF 16949. In addition to the resources below, take a look at the IATF Transition strategy document from the IATF website. One critical excerpt we want to draw attention to is as follows:

“If the client does not provide the minimum required information for the off-site documentation review prior to the audit to the certification body, the audit shall not begin. It is at the discretion of the certification body to schedule additional audit days on-site to conduct an additional in-depth review of the documentation provided by the client prior to the audit. If the transition audit cannot be conducted within the required timeframe, the client shall start over with an initial audit.”
