Six-year contract covers ISO and OHS standards for major municipal departments
BUFFALO GROVE, Ill.–UL DQS, one of the leading certification bodies for Environmental Management Systems in the world, has been awarded a six-year contract by the City of Dallas to become its ISO Registrar. UL DQS will provide third-party accreditations for all major departments of the city for their specific combinations of Quality, Environmental, and Health and Safety standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHS 18001.

The City of Dallas has had a registered Environmental Management System since 2008. The first Quality registration was received in 2007 and Occupational Health and Safety registration was received in 2008.

UL DQS provides a cost-effective learning environment with classes limited to 20 students. Students participating in the class receive continuing education certificates upon completion.
